Mission Completed - Post Mortem
Whelp, that concludes this particular adventure in indie game development.

This was my first time experiencing the pressures of addressing a support ticket and my first official game dev crunch time. Two things I hope to never have to face again, and yet I know I inevitably will. Chilling. It’s one thing when you only have yourself to blame for a project’s success or failure. It’s a whole other level of pressure when someone else is depending on your stuff to work so theirs can shine. It was crazy. I was literally working up until the very last minute playing game breaking bug Whack-a-Mole and submitting my project 2 minutes before the showcase. Still not sure how I managed to pull that off. Technically, I had a completed game several weeks and hours before launch, but I was stuck on the 100% completion rate, *“just one more feature”* hamster wheel like an addict. It really is true: art is never finished. It’s simply taken away.

I got to play like 3 or 4 games over the span of 2 hours and somehow managed to overlook all the truly polished stuff. After a short break and a few game reviews, I hope to have many more adventures in other vastly diverse genres and aspects of game dev.
